Senator wraps up 'Pure Michigan' tour in Muskegon County | Business

WHITEHALL, Mich.—Senator Goeff Hansen will finish out his “hotspot” tour next week with a visit to Muskegon County.
Hansen will begin his September 16th visit at Goodrich Park in Whitehall before bicycling to Muskegon, then Ravenna. The full schedule is as follows:
8:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m. : Begin in Whitehall; The Causeway Rehabilitation Site (Goodrich Park)
9:15 a.m.-9:30 a.m.: Bike to Whitehall: Duck Lake State Park
10:15 a.m.-10:45 a.m.: Bike to Muskegon: LST 393
10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m. : Bike to Muskegon: Heritage Landing
11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m.: Bike to Downtown Muskegon: The CIM, West Michigan Symphony, The Russell Block, Downtown Farmer’s Market
1:45 p.m.-2:15 p.m.: Bike to Muskegon: Pere Marquette
2:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: Drive to Muskegon Heights: Mona Lake City Park
3:15 p.m.-3:45 p.m.: Drive to Muskegon: Ryke’s Bakery
4:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Drive to Fruitport Township: Muskegon County Fairgrounds
4:45 p.m.-5:30 p.m.: Bike to Ravenna: Jawors Brothers Blueberries
The visits are part of Hansen’s campaign to promote local tourism and small businesses offering a “Pure Michigan” experience. His goal has been to use alternative transportation, including bicycles, boats and kayaks.
