Juvenile Diabetes fundraiser at Kenowa Hills Soccer Game

Juvenile Diabetes fundraiser at Kenowa Hills Soccer Game

Kenowa Hills High School soccer players, Kate Carey and Madi Buechner have organized a fundraiser to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. This event will take place at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 2nd at Kenowa Hills, when Kenowa will host Muskegon Big Reds in a game titled, “The Blue Game." These two gals did this completely on their own, according to soccer coach, Jason Snyder.

To quote Kate, “We have one teammate who has juvenile diabetes and one other member, whose sister is affected by this disease.”

The Kenowa team has been selling T-Shirts and has several donated gifts that will be raffled off the day of the game. They are always looking for donations and hope to raise thousands of dollars for this foundation.

Anyone willing to make a donation can call the Kenowa Hills Athletic Office at 616-784-2115.

Go Kenowa!
