MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) -- A man faces a charge of terrorism after police say he threatened to shoot up Muskegon High School.

The Muskegon County prosecutor's office says Ryan Jamar Day went to the school on March 8, caused a disturbance, refused to leave and said he would come back and shoot a student he believed had been bothering his sister.

Chief Assistant Prosecutor Brett Gardner says Day also told an assistant principal he would shoot up the school.

Day is scheduled for a preliminary examination Monday on the terrorism charge, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

The Muskegon Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/HGNRWY ) the 21-year-old Muskegon Heights man was arraigned last week.

Day's lawyer, Joe Fisher, told The Associated Press on Tuesday he had no comment on the case.
