Lake Express Ferry begins service Friday | News

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Lake Express Ferry's ninth year of service begins Friday.

The ferry departs from Milwaukee at 6 a.m. Central time and will arrive in Muskegon at 9:30 a.m. Eastern.

It's the first of four daily crossings, which will run through June 30.

The schedule expands to six crossings from July 1 until September 3.

This year's prices are 10% to 24% lower than 2011.

There will be no charge for motorcycles throughout the month of May.
