Child killed in alley crash with SUV | News

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- A two-year-old boy is dead after an SUV hit him while he was riding a tricycle in an alley.

The accident happened around 1 p.m. Monday in an alley between Southern and Grand avenues near 6th and 7th streets in Muskegon.

According to police, the boy was riding his tricycle in an alley by his home when he was hit by a 45-year-old woman driving a Chevy TrailBlazer SUV.  The child was killed in the collision.

County victims services workers are offering counseling to the boy's family.
