LAKETON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM)-The Muskegon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash that killed a Laketon Township man.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of West River Road, in Laketon Township. Sheriff Dean Roesler says Dave Seastrom, 58, was heading east when he lost control of his car and went airborne, hitting a patch of trees. Seastrom was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The Sheriff says Seastrom was not wearing a seatbelt. Deputies believe speed and alcohol may have played roles in the accident.
Seastrom lived on West River Road, about four miles from where the accident took place.
