MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- The lakeshore will be bustling this weekend for Muskegon Boat Time. The annual festival kicked off Thursday and runs through Sunday.

Visitors can buy one ticket to tour the three historic ships on Muskegon Lake, including the U.S.S. Silversides, the Milwaukee Clipper, and the L.S.T. 393.

Ron Morzfeld is a Muskegon Boat Time organizer who moved to the lakeshore from Wisconsin 25 years ago. "This to me is special-- our lakefront and we're trying to build it, trying to make it more visitor friendly."

Saturday, the L.S.T. 393 hosts the signature event of Muskegon Boat Time; The Sunset Boat Jam, which starts at 7 p.m.
