MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - The City of Muskegon is asking residents not to miss their next garbage collection day... even if they don't have garbage to be picked up.
Over the next two weeks, city workers will be collecting the
65-gallon trash carts currently in use and replacing them with 95-gallon carts. Residents should follow their regularly scheduled trash pick-up day. Workers will only be able to swap out the garbage carts if it is at the street curb.
City Engineer Mohammed Al-Shatel is asking residents to place their cart at the road by 6 a.m. and not to remove the garbage cart from the cub until it has been replace with a new one. That could happen as late as 7 p.m.
