Police investigate second homicide on city block | News

UPDATE (7:30 p.m. Saturday)-- The Muskegon County Prosecutor says the victim's name is Quinton Miller.

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WZZM) - Muskegon Heights police are searching for suspects in a deadly Saturday morning shooting.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of 6th St. around 4 a.m. Saturday. There they found the body of a 19-year-old man from the Muskegon area.

The Muskegon County Prosecutor says shell casings were found about a block away on 7th Street.

It's unclear if this homicide is connected to another teenager's murder, which also happened on 6th Street about three weeks ago. In that case, neighbors say a group of people fired several shots and drove away.
